"Based on a secret 1813 recipe, Noilly Prat Original Dry is beautifully crafted in the South of France using the finest white wines. Some of these wines are selectively aged outdoors in oak casks exposed to the natural elements. An aromatic blend of herbs and spices (including Roman Chamomile and Gentian from France, Nutmeg from Indonesia and Bitter Orange from Tunisia) gently infuses the wines to create a unique bouquet and taste. Delicious served chilled on its own with a twist of lemon, it is the perfect vermouth for classic and contemporary mixology."

The perfect martini

If you want the perfect martini, it has to have Noily Pratt in as the vermouth. Accept no substitute!

Julia Child's recipe

A beautiful vermouth. I recommend Julia Child's reverse martini recipe. 3 and 3/4 ounces of Noilly Prat, and 3/4 ounce of Bombay Sapphire Gin. Mix in a mixing glass with ice, strain into a coupe and add a thick piece of lemon peel. Heaven!

Beautiful vermouth

Lovely vermouth for martini-making. Tastes very much as it looks — smooth, subtle and golden. My personal favourite martini recipe = 50ml Tanqueray No.10 + 10-20ml Noilly Prat, stirred together with ice, served in chilled martini glass; garnish with lemon peel OR add dash of whisky while stirring (Talisker for preference). Just gorgeous.
