This mezcal is double-distilled in clay pots in Sola de Vega. Sola de Vega is located deep in the mountains of Oaxaca. Its altitude varies from 700 to 3000 meters above sea level. Its climate is generally cold with rain in May, June, July, August and September. This mezcal has aromas of fresh herbs, sweet fruit, and wet earth. The taste is decidedly earthly with sweet notes of pollen and honey.
