Hankey Bannister Original 700ml

Nice drop the defies its price point. Good for visitors who wouldn't appreciate a better whiskey (-:

I bought this on special and was quite impressed; wished I'd bought two of them! I'd thought it would need a generous amount of mixer, but no, it was very nice with just a splash of water.

For those who like a non peaty scotch whisky this really is the deal, very smooth
however abundant flavour. Hard to tell it is not a single malt.
Far superior to the everyday common blends.

Commercial description nails it, easy drinking dram for when not having a dram, if like me love McIntosh/Allen toffees, you will enjoy this. Would use as a introductory whisky to newbies, pretty harmless and tasty stuff. Can't go wrong for a budget blend, my usual go to is Antiquary Black, both better than a lot out there, would buy again.

Hanky Bannister is a lovely blend to be enjoyed anytime you choose. Probably understated and possible ignored at its price point and unusual name. Do not be fooled. The tasting notes are on point, a lovely dram indeed.
