Islay Gold Select Reserve typifies the rich, oily, peaty character of whiskies from the Island. Warming smoke on the nose develops into notes of citrus, spice and stone fruit. On the palate, flavours of salt, dark chocolate and treacle intermingle with coastal smoke and lead into a long finish thick with smoke and burnt orange.
