Neck pour reveals dry-stick campfire smoke, black pepper (without the sharpness) & dried candied fruit, not sweet but figgy. Past the shoulder & the smoke becomes a peppered storm cloud on a crashing sea of dried fruit lava. More complex than the Port Ruighe cos of the energising of the smoke. The T10 is black pepper on a slice of brown bread in comparison. If u like Talisker & want to explore what the base spirit can do, this will grab yr attention. I prefer the fruity Port casking of the PR to this power statement dry sherry expression, but I can see why it's a few dollars more.
