The King's Ginger Liqueur 500ml

Firstly, "Whisky and More" are a brilliant company and highly recommended.
Secondly, my recommendation for The Kings Ginger Liqueur (above) was based upon how it used to taste - a liqueur that was crisp, distinctive, delicious!
BUT... some bright spark at Berry Bros decided to create a new formula... yuck! This new version taste just like the MUCH cheaper Stones Ginger Wine (which is very pleasant, but nothing truly special.)
My advice, don't waste your money on this updated sicky sweet sap, it is not a liqueur in taste, it is more of a mixer - go for Stones. :-)

For those that have tried other ginger preparations - Stones Ginger Wine, Crabbies Ginger wine etc., just forget it! This beautiful liqueur from Berry Bros has the authentic taste of the ginger root, subtly tempered to produce the most heavenly taste, never to be forgotten. And absolute must for lovers of fine tasting liqueurs.
