Tasting Notes
Floral lifted aromatics entice with fresh lemon zest, mandarin peel, peach and spring flowers. This is balanced with a deeper layer of nutty complexity with subtle touches of cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

The palate is extraordinarily rich and layered with creamy texture, carrying the fresh citrus notes through to the finish. The oak is seamlessly integrated, with the richness and depth cloaking the acidity and oak tannins beautifully. An intensely rich and unique wine.

Taransaud Ovum
Egg shaped fermenters create wines with a unique richness and complexity.  The egg shape produces gentle convection currents due to the temperature differentials between the core of the egg and exterior ? as well as the difference in temperature from the base to the top. These currents keep the yeasts in suspension, enhancing yeast derived richness. The yeast also clings to the interior surface of the egg from the meridian down, as the incline gently slopes to the base, adding further complexity and nuance. It is a natural function of time and motion creating a remarkable, distinct intensity and balance.
