Commercial Description:
This wine was vintaged from the 85 year old vineyards of the Steinert and Stephens families which are located in the Flaxman Valley area of Eden Valley. Both of these vineyards are dry grown, low yielding, hand pruned and handpicked, helping to maintain our link with traditional viticultural and winemaking practices. We harvest the grapes later in the season to produce a more full-bodied style with a light golden colour, intense citrus fruit aromas and a deep, soft palate without any obtrusive acid. A fresh, crisp wine when young, it will continue to bottle age well and develop greater complexities of colour and flavour over the next 6-8 years.
