"Plymouth Original Strength is a unique, protected style of gin originating from the city of Plymouth, South West England. Since 1793 it has been distilled from a unique blend of 7 botanicals, soft Dartmoor water and pure grain alcohol at the historic Black Friars Distillery - the oldest working distillery in England 2006 Double Gold Medal, Best In Show (Gin), Best In Show (Overall White Spirit), 2001 Double Gold Medal Winner – San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2005 Silver Medal – The International Wine and Spirits Competition 2003 Exceptional – Beverage Testing Institute International Spirits Challenge, 1999 Trophy & Gold Winner

THE TASTE Plymouth Gin has a great depth of flavour with deep earthy notes and a wonderfully fresh juniper and lemony bite. It has a slight sweetness with extraordinary concentration and complexity. No single botanical dominates the overall flavour. The finish is long and dry.

SERVING SUGGESTION Plymouth is ideal served with tonic over ice and a squeeze of lemon or lime. Alternatively savour its smooth taste in, amongst other wonderful cocktails, the Fraise Sauvage cocktail featured in the Detroit News newspaper - a more terrific variation of champagne with fresh strawberries!

TASTING NOTES Colour - Crystal Clear. Nose - Rich, fresh aroma of juniper followed by notes of coriander and cardamom. Palate - Extremely smooth, creamy and full bodies with a slight sweetness. Finish - Elegant, long, fresh and aromatic"

Such a good Gin

Was really disappointed to not be able to find this amazing gin in bottle stores anymore. When asking about it, got blank looks from staff. So happy to find that Whisky & More stock it, even if the local distributor doesn't bring it in.

Huge amount of history, fantastic flavour. Now if only I could get the bigger bottles too.

Superb Gin

My favourite gin, but unfortunately difficult to get in New Zealand. Pleased that Whisky and More have it.
I like the more subtle botanicals compared to a lot of the modern gins.
