The second limited edition release from Amrut in their Spectrum series will see only 6,000 bottles worldwide. Amrut?s distillers describe this Spectrum 004 Single Malt Whisky as a mosaic of tastes and flavors lent by the four varieties of oak. Initially matured in an ex-bourbon barrel before it was transferred to a custom-built, unique barrel constructed out of four different varieties of oak. The four varieties of oak include American oak with level three charring, French oak with slight toasting, Ex-Oloroso Sherry stave and Ex-Px Sherry stave.
