Launched in 2013 and set to become a regular bottling, this unusual release from the prodigious Swedish distillery is slightly smoky - hence the name Svensk meaning Swedish Smoke Matured in a mix of 110 and 30 liter casks for an undisclosed period, Mackmyra use smoldering juniper branches to dry some of the malt, (about 70% of this whisky is peated). Expect aromas and flavours of peat, juniper, vanilla, caramel, citrus, pears and raisins.
