An NZ rarity

Chenin blanc, is not widely grown in NZ. Matawhero Church House will have you wondering why. Serve nicely chilled, on a warm day. You'll be rewarded by an exceptionally clean wine. It's fresh, mid dry, with light honeyed fruit flavours. Looks lovely in the glass, not trying to be overly serious. Great value at the stated price. Reminded me of the experience of the original 1988 Montana Sauv blanc, something I never thought could be repeated.
