Lovely drop, value for money

Great for tasting on its own. Full of flavour and not excessively sweet. And for the ultimate blasphemy it makes the best rum and coke on this planet.

I had read reviews that this rum was quite dry and it definitely is. I noticed a slight astringent or bitter note in the mid palate which is more noticeable when doing an A-B comparison with other rums. It has the expected rum notes of brown sugar, caramel and toffee, with some oak, vanilla and cinnamon spice.

This is a great and good value rum if your looking for something not so sweet.
