A blend of Barbados rums initially aged for five years in x-Bourbon casks. Dull gold colour with pale gold hue. Mild aromatic scents of chocolate brownie, honeycomb and toasty oak. The palate is restrained yet powerful. Chocolate brownie re-emerges, with cream and vanillan oak flavours. Tightly structured, finishing firm and dry with a subdued honeycomb and dry tannin fade. Elegant but lacking in aromatic intensity and all round complexity.
