I was surprised, in a good way

Took a punt on this; was looking for something to fill the decanter. The price in a 1L bottle was too tempting. The nose is alright - you can smell Islay there. But the taste was a good surprise: a full, typical Islay flavour and very palatable at 46%.

A really good drop. I envy those guys stationed/stuck there in 1940 with Coastal command and A Walrus Seaplane

If you are an Islay person this is a great dram at a great price point and has peat all the way.
