A skillfully crafted Claret that?s all about the terroir.

This single-vineyard blend of Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, grown in clay and limestone soils in the Gensac commune east of the Gironde, is vinified and matured in stainless steel with no oak contact whatsoever.

The purity of fruit, framed by deft tannins and a refreshing acidity, is just a joy to behold. Medium-bodied and luminous ruby-garnet in colour, the nose is vibrant with cherries and rhubarb, violets and rosehip, with the palate superbly focused on those ripe tannins, fresh hedgerow fruit layered over a fine minerality that runs from start to finish. It?s a seriously tasty Claret.

Enjoy on its own or with light grills or roasts, nothing too heavy to take away from the elegance of this.

Whines of the Upper Glass

fairly typical of what I would describe as Vin du table. Not for the oenophile.

Good wine, great box

Perfect for a gift. The win has initially an earthy taste but gives great aroma on the second sip. It is amazingly drinkable and because it's a Bordeaux in a great box, great as a gift.

Easy drinking drop

A nice easygoing wine to go with dinner and at a good price point.
I like the timber box - very handy.

bordeaux six

A very pleasant wine that goes with practically everything- not too heavy, not too light. Only bit of a downside is the packing in a wooden box! A bit difficult to open and then, what do you do with the wood? But great for kindling if you have a fire or log burner.
