The Edge wines are 100% Martinborough fruit, harvested and then vinified at the Escarpment Vineyard by the experienced wine making team under Larry McKenna?s watchful eye. While Martinborough can produce long lived wines of great structure, the alluvial terraces also lend themselves to wines that express ripe fruit flavours with a softness of texture that is distinctive from other grape growing regions. The Edge label that capture this character but can be enjoyed in their relative youth. They are made without the use of oak and usually include small amounts of residual sugar. Ideal for current vintage drinking and make great aperitif.
