Thought that I would give this a try, Welsh whisky indeed!
It was very nice, mellow and very drinkable. Early $40 is about the right price for this tipple. I recommend 🙂

Excellent Value

For the price, this whiskey is excellent value for money. Balanced taste with a lean towards the sweet side. Definitely worth the purchase as an entry level single-malt whiskey.

Good Value - a little on the sweet

Great Value, Clean and smooth, just a little on the sweet side of perfect for my pallete but no regrets. Had a good night sharing it with good friends.

Welsh Rarebit

Tried Aber Falls for the first time - pleasantly surprised. Easy drinking Whisky blend, even neat !!

Disappointing

I bought this one out of interest - and to be fair, it's a good price. However the whisky is fairly flavourless and the only discerning characteristic is the 'burn' from the alcohol strength. I'd be curious to try another 'Aber Falls' again in a few more years, depending on how it's been stored - casks, etc.

I see no reason why Welsh whisky couldn't be excellent.

But this one isn't.
