The aroma brings to mind sweet Scottish raspberries, rich dark-forest fruits and chocolate. A hint of smoke on the nose comes through more strongly to taste, with sherry-soaked fruits, orange peel and a building peat smoke flavour. Benromach's signature spice of woody cinnamon, clove and fresh pepper builds with intensity, lingering long on berries and sweet smoke.
