Decent rye

Good spicy notes you'd expect. Decently smooth and stands up pretty good in cocktails.

Still my favorite Rye

Bulleit is the first Rye whiskey I have tried and so far it's still my favorite. Being 95% rye it dryer and spicier than other barely legal ryes. Have tried Rittenhouse but found it a bit too sweet and fruity. Also tried Woodford Reserve but it was a bit too bland. Keen to try others but so far Bulleit is my go to Rye. Generally use it in cocktails (Manhattans or Boulevardiers). Don't often drink it neat, save that for Single Malts.

A great little rye!

In my never ending quest for the top of the bottom shelf I ended up testing what is a solid everyday drinking rye. Not quite on the scale of Rittenhouse 100, but darn good drinking!
Again a nice-n-spicy rye that sets it apart from most of the other ryes out there.
My fav with this stuff is a warming old fashioned loaded with bitters to accentuate the spice and light on the sugar.
If you're more of a lightweght, add a couple drops of water and sipp'er-neat.
Ummmmmm Mmm!
