Bought this after seeing all the 5 star reviews. Most of the reviews are from soldiers who were stationed in Germany and this was the local drink. I can tell you now that this isn't as smooth or complex like a decent VSOP. $45 on a Remy Martin or Chatelle will get you better quality stuff. However, I can see the appeal for this Brandy like how Old Monk rum has a cult like following. Worth trying once as an experience. Rough, intense and fruity. Almost like bourbon..
