We are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated annual release of Kilchoman Loch Gorm. Named after the famously dark and peaty loch that overlooks the distillery, this limited edition whisky continues to embody the unique character of Kilchoman's exceptional location.
Matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, this is a quintessential example of the marriage of peat and sherry wood.
Nose: Waves of sweet BBQ smoke and cooked fruits with dark chocolate and dried figs.
Palate: Delicate peat smoke combined with honey roasted nuts, cinnamon and malted barley.
Finish: Fresh notes of citrus and rich toffee
The Sauternes Cask Matured limited edition has spent its full maturation in ex-sauternes wine casks. Combination of fresh and refill Sauternes barriques from two separate years, the youngest being from 2018, creating an extraordinary balance of buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple, candied ginger and floral peat smoke.
