Vecchia Romagna - Eitchette Nera 700ml

I enjoy both Cognac and Armagnac with a good Cuban and a strong expresso. However, this stands up against other much more expensive brands. It is slightly heavy in texture but has enough alcohol to grab the tongue and cheeks. Finishes well with a lingering palate.

Very generic flavor profile. Average nose. Short finish. Drink it straight or risk losing what little flavour this has. I added ice and it muted the drink by 50%. Then added soda which killed it completely. Drink ended up tasting like soda... same effect with water. I brought it for $38 per bottle to satisfy my curiosity. Asbach 3yo would have been a way better buy at this price range.
