Yalumba Samuels Shiraz 2022 750ml

A bit young, but should improve over 3 to 5 years. Dense fruit-driven of medium sweetness. I compared with an earlier vintage of Peter Lehman 'The Barossan', also available at Whisky & More, and thought this notably better (but a few dollars more a bottle).

Rich dark red colour, lovely aroma of black fruits. Medium to full bodied. A wine from the excellent 2922 vintage. Quite tight yet, strong tannins but plenty of fruit flavours underneath. Needs time in the bottle being only two years old. Will soften with time so if you can hang on to it for a couple of years.
